AUSTIN, TX–March 26, 2007–Drummond Group Inc. (DGI), the leading software and conformance certification company, today announced that six products recently completed the Drummond Certified(TM) AS1-1Q07 interoperability testing program. Products from Axway, Inovis, nuBridges LLC and TIBCO Software, Inc., successfully completed the AS1-1Q07 interoperability test round.
When implemented, AS1 enables users to connect, deliver and reply to data securely and reliably over Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP) or email. By certifying interoperability amongst a group of commercial software products, the Drummond Certified program promotes the adoption of standards-based software for use in supply chains worldwide.
During the AS1-1Q07 test round, software products successfully exchanged and evaluated hundreds of test messages with each other to demonstrate interoperability and verify validity of each transaction. Test messages cover the full scope of the AS1 standard, which includes digital signatures, encryption and receipts, as well as data compression.
“DGI’s Drummond Certified program is instrumental in delivering new choices of interoperable software applications that support global e-commerce,” said Rik Drummond, DGI’s chief executive officer. “These newly tested products further establish secure and interoperable Internet commerce and contribute to the increased adoption of the AS1 Internet standard.”
