Carefluence has been awarded certification for its Carefluence Open API 1.0 for API capabilities of patient selection, data category request and all data request.

“ONC, CMS and other stakeholders in the healthcare IT community are strongly championing APIs as a key way to share data and engage patients in their healthcare,” said Kyle Meadors, president of Drummond Group. “With this current certification criteria, ONC has begun the steps of standardizing APIs for widespread industry adoption. This certification will be the first of many to come as more developers and clinicians implement APIs into their healthcare IT systems.”
