We are pleased to announce that Drummond Group LLC has been selected to receive funding under the Certified Health IT Surveillance Capacity and Infrastructure Improvement Cooperative Agreement (NAP-AX-17-003). The purpose of the funding is to improve the surveillance capacity and infrastructure that exists for health IT certified software under the ONC Health IT Certification Program, with particular focus on real-world data exchange. Drummond Group will work closely with the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) as we plan and execute this cooperative agreement.
“We are thrilled to be part of such an important and exciting initiative,” said Lisa Palmer, Drummond Group Surveillance Director. “As an experienced ONC Authorized Certification Body [ONC-ACB], we feel Drummond Group is uniquely positioned to address end user challenges, ONC-ACB organizational challenges and the technical considerations for in-the-field surveillance and interoperability.”
The timeframe for this project is a 24-month period of performance. In that time Drummond Group is dedicating resources for research and development aiming to improve the surveillance program for the overall goal to benefit end users and their patients.
